Parades On The 4th Of July

I love parades.  I love how so many people come together in one place to celebrate and share swelling emotions together.  I love the detail and work that has gone into each float, marching band, and group that rolls/marches/parades past.  I love the patriotic feeling as everyone stands up to pay tribute to the veterans of war as they ride past.  I even love accepting the never to actually be used fliers that companies pass out along the parade route.  Parades are wonderful whether you are a participant in them or a participant from the sidelines.
