Not Prepared

How could a fictional movie leave me in a blubbering pile of tears?  Pretty easily it seems.  My roommate and I on our adventures this evening decided to take in a flick using the free movie passes that she received a year and a half ago.  The movie of choice, "A Fault In Our Starts".  Through the last half of this movie I'm not sure that I even had dry eyes.  The first sad moment hit and my eyes welled up and rivers of salty water and snot (yes, snot) ran down my face.  Was I prepared for this? Did I bring the needed reinforcements such as tissues to this movie?  No.  I was not a good boy scout, girl scout, or any other kind of scout with always being prepared.  That will teach me.  If someone tells me that I will most likely cry through a movie I should believe them and be prepared.

If I Had A Shop

For my birthday my sister took me to a wonderful cafe in Downtown SLC, Gourmandies.  They had wonderful food, beautiful pastries, and a great atmosphere.  The next month because I enjoyed it so much I took my mother there.  If I were to own a pastry shop I think it would be something like this one, not exactly, but close.  Their display case was colorful, diverse, and delicious looking.  From my small sample those two days I can say they are doing it right.

Thank you sis for introducing me!
