Pride - My Downfall

I spent the evening lost.  I had an activity (water kickball) to go to and I was excited for it.  The night was going to be so much fun.  How can you miss out on water kickball?  Kickball, friends, water, and sun.  Who wouldn't want to go to that?  Too bad I was lost.  Couldn't find the meeting place.  Couldn't find the park it was going to be at.  Couldn't even drive fast enough to follow the kid I knew was headed that way in his car.  Why then didn't I call someone to tell me where I was supposed to be or what I was missing in the directions....PRIDE.  I hate to admit to people that I can't do something on my own.  Darn pride!!!!  I could have had a blast but instead I wandered around aimlessly and then went home.  Why???  Stupid pride!!!!
